This is a beautiful condition original WW1 M16 German helmet, which has been over painted to protect it. The helmet has evidence of battledamage and there is thinning of the helmet on the top, however this helmet is still solid and is perfect to be restored. The helmet was found on a private collection on the Somme. A nice relic from the famous Somme battlefield.
