This rare, late 19th century "Congo" Fire Bug cap shooter is a collector's dream-come-true since it comes in its original box, and includes original directions and original cardboard cap container with packing (no caps) still inside! The cap shooter is in excellent condition and the box is in good condition with one small piece missing from the left side of the box lid (see photo). Original label still affixed to the box. The fire bug is approximately 3-inches long and made of wire and japanned cast iron. Included directions state: "To set me, put my head against the PIANO or something, press me back, turn down my little catch on cross piece, put cap in my breast, close up, then step on me and I will make you jump.Truly yours, Congo Fire Bug.
