Copeland Late Spode Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Mug dated 1897 Product Description 15: Up for sale is a beautiful commemorative Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee 1897 Copeland Late Spode mug. It is beige or tan in color, and measures 3.25” tall and 3.25” wide. On the front is a white three-dimensional relief of Queen Victoria . Over the top is a banner in white that reads “Diamond 1897 Jubilee.” On the back of the mug is a white cartouche reading: “Victoria Queen and Empress 1837.” The bottom of the mug is marked “Copeland Late Spode.” Beneath that is a number that appears to read 180268. Beneath that it reads “ England .” Incised in the bottom is “Copeland England .” There are numbers that are hard to read and on the other side, an incised “X.” The mug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and there are no signs of repair.
