This is a vintage or antique copper tea kettle which has been very well used; it has its share of dents in various places including the underside. Handle is marked “1 Volund Hamar” and it folds down to either side. I believe it was made in Norway. Lid has a nice snug fit. It stands about 9” tall with fully extended handle; to top of lid, it is more like 7”. It is approx. 8” wide to spout. This item would make a great display; the dents give it lots of character. It does not leak, so it can hold its water, but I wouldn't use it to make water for my tea. My pictures show this item with 2 different backdrops.
