Alexi Leonov, internationally acclaimed artist, was the commander of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project – the American-Soviet joint mission in space. The former Soviet Union’s greatest living cosmonaut was decorated "Hero of the Soviet Union" and is synonymous with one of the most important events of the twentieth century - the first man to walk in space, March 18, 1965. Artist Alexi Leonov hand signed each print on the right in pencil. A photocopy of the International Edition Certificate of Authenticity from Pacific Coast Galaxy Inc. accompanies each offset lithograph print. These certificates are not numbered.
