Stylish handmade Cuban silk-screen poster titled El deporte en el cine (Sports In The Movies); it was designed for a 1975 documentary about the subject of sports in the Cuban cinema. (Cuba has won more 200 medals at the summer Olympics.) This silk-screen is another example of the masterful artwork produced by one of Cuba 's most famous designers, Antonio Fernández Reboiro , who now lives in Madrid. Reboiro's work can be found in many world museums, including MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. This 20 by 30 inch poster (a standard size, so easy and inexpensive to frame) was silk-screened in the ICAIC (Cuban Film Institute) workshop in Havana in the past 15 years, some years after the poster was first released.
