Up for auction is a custom decaled Walthers Plated Finish Amtrak "Pacific Parlour". This car is basically new in Box, only removed for custom work and taking photos of. This car was bought new as a Walthers Plated Finish El Captain Hi Level Lounge. The modifications that were made include the following, painted the trucks the accurate black for the Amtrak cars, added the plate for the "Pacific Parlour" next to the doors, and then added the decals including the Phase IV stripe, "Pacific Parlour" name, car number, and emergency exit warning labels. Model was accurately decaled, and then clear coated using a water based satin finish. Car looks and rolls great, and would make an excellent addition to anyone's "Coast Starlight" or Amtrak collection. This also offers you a much cheaper alternative to having a Parlour, but not paying the price for a brass model. **Please note that car is listed as "used" because it has been out of the box, and we did do work on the car, but it is basically new with no damage. The box does show a little wear from being transported and having to take the car in and out of the box while working on the car****Please also note that this is not a professional model, this was done as a project by myself and is no longer needed, but is overall done very well.
