This is a pair of resin ends that when applied to the Central Valley Northern Pacific Stock Car will enable the car to be the correct width. The car from the kit is one scale foot too wide. Please see photos above of the comparison of a wide car direct from the kit and the narrower car with these resin ends. This auction includes only the 2 resin ends and instructions to narrow the width of this NP stock car and not the car kit or any other parts for this car. In the Northern Pacific Historical Society magazine The Mainstreeter, Volume 25-1, Ed Ursem published an article on how to narrow the Central Valley Northern Pacific stock car and these NPRHA Modeling Committee produced these car ends to make this modification of the CV kit very easy. Full directions on how to narrow this Central Valley Northern Pacific Stock Car using these ends and modifying the bottom and roof of the CV kit car are included with this pair of resin ends.
