Beautiful, high quality, sterling spoon from Louisville Kentucky dating back to early years of 1900 featuring on the front of the handle very detailed images: state seal with the wording UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL, below portrait of DANL BOONE and writing KENTUCKY down the handle. Bowl has embossed multi scenes: in center writing LOUISVILLE, horse shoe with a head of horse, THE SEELBACH building, OLD KY. HOME, CITY HALL and ARMORY. Condition of the spoons is excellent, measures shade over 5" long (127 mm). On the back marked STERLING along with Watson & Newell Co. markings (crown W lion).
