DANISH MODERN ERIK DENNUNG Brutalist Silver Organic Gold Plate Agate CuffDescription**This week we have cracked open our Pawn vault and will be listing (and auctioning off) a Large collection of Antique and Vintage Navajo, Taxco and Scandinavian Silver pieces that we have been holding in our family for the last several decades.Agate and SILVER Danish Modernist Bracelet & in SILVER by Danish Modernist Erik Dennung (1908-86) Circa : 1960âs mid-century modernMaker & quality marks :ERIK DENNUNG MADE in DENMARK B+DWeighs 80 GramsWill fit a Medium to Large WristHistory- Erik Dennung Worked as a silversmith and had a workshop Dennung Salvmedie APS on Frederiksberg in Copenhagen, opening in the 1960s. He made a lot of big and bold jewellery, real statement pieces. These items required a lot of material and that is the reason that he mostly used silver plate over base metals. He also worked in commission for Buch & Deigmann just like Jacob Hull. These pieces were also marked with the B+D mark. Buch & Deichmann made plastic bracelets and pins, as well as other costume jewellery, and Dennung made silver plated jewellery for the company. Buch & Deichmann is still in business and now makes stylish sunglasses. During the period 1971-1979 Dennung worked in partnership with the well-known Danish jeweller J. Andersen in Copenhagen.
