Modernist Amethyst Erik Dennung Collar Necklace For Buch + Deichmann Denmark Vintage BrutalistBeautiful vintage Danish necklace is done in a silver colored metal (probably silver plated) and set with an amethyst stone. The modern design pendant beautifully different . The necklace measures about 3 1/4" long from the top of the collar to the bottom of the pendant centerpiece. The large pendant measures about 1 1/2" across. (Pics included with measurements)This is for a medium to small neck and has a wearable length of about 13". There is a little flex to the metalwork so you can put this on. Signed ERIK DENNUNG and also marked MADE IN DENMARK and has the maker's mark of the initials B+D which is the mark of Buch + Deichmann.Nice vintage condition with little age wear. The amethyst shows expected irregularities. This is an impressive piece and perfect for anyone who likes Scandinavian designer jewelry. Some surface scratches and surface wear due to normal age and wear. Excellent pre-owned condition. Please see pictures for details.ERIK DENNUNGDennung's workshop in Copenhagen was first registered in 1974, and the shop on Frederiksberg near the Copenhagen Business School was still there a couple of years ago. Much of Dennung's work is bold and requires a lot of material, so he tended to use silver plate over base metals.
