If you have a special love for unusual vintage rosaries, medals, statues and BALLET treasures please bookmark the Danusharose site. I use consistent terms as far as describing my rosaries that I resale, restore, and create on ebay.I judge a lightweight rosary at 20 grams,a mid weight rosary at 25-40 grams, a heavier weight rosary at 45-70 grams. I have been entirely creating WIRE WRAPED ROSARIES where each link is wrapped, knotted & twisted by myself, by hand. These rosaries take approx 3 hours to complete compared with the usual one hour, and are started at a higher price because of the time involved. I find the longer process very healing & realize that for those of us, who pray the rosary daily, it is nice to have a rosary that can last. These treasures are tomorrow's heirlooms. Each rosary bead is wrapped carefully, with 19 ft of wire so they are extremely and prayerfully strong. NOTE:I also offer up eye pin & wire wrapped combination construction rosaries that takes less time and are an affordable way to try out the beauty of wire wrapped in the Our Fathers and connecting spots. A traditional 59 bead rosary made out of vintage light amethyst oval glass beads,intensely beautiful, which I used to highlight ONE SAPHIRET BEAD from which the sterling silver marked 2 way medal of the Sacred Heart and Miraculous Mary hang in a chatelaine style setting,wait til you hold this one! !!As always a free rosary prayer ! I feel led to find them and return them to praying hands especially during this time in our troubled world. I know you know what I mean if you pray the rosary at all, there is no time to lose. I restored this rosary and combined the serene colours of amethyst, lilac, opal escent and of course that one treasured saphiret bead. Complete saphiret beads go for hundreds of dollars and are very rare. In the bottom of an estate of broken rosaries I found a couple saphiret beads, but alas no saphiret rosary, so I decided just to portion out one bead at a time to spread the beauty .One of a kind! I matched up a marked sterling lovely high end quality 2 way medal and it matched the centerpiece which is also another 2 way medal,a very pretty and timeless rosary, peaceful and hopeful, just what we all need in this world today. 6mm oval beads for the Hail Marys and 8mm AB glass beads for the Our Fathers. Weighs 37 grams, a really comfortable weight of a rosary. It is 16 inches folded in half to the vintage centerpiece( which makes a slip over the head necklace circle of 32 inches) and then a 5 inch drop to the 1.5 inch crucifix...the saphiret bead is bookened by a lilac AB bead and a lovely amethyst diamond shaped bead, you never want to wire wrap around saphiret as they are way too fragile and would chip and break, this way it is safe on this rosary for you to touch and hold.
