David Hodson Tenor Guitar custom made for Gordon Giltrap in 2004 This custom built guitar, made by sadly deceased UK guitar luthier David Hodson, has been kindly donated by Gordon Giltrap, with approval from David's widow, to Acoustic Magazine (). This is to raise funds for British luthier Rob Armstrong. Unfortunately, Rob's workshop and all his tools were lost in a fire, leaving his life's work in ruins. We are proud to offer this rare guitar for sale. David Hodson is most famous for making exquisite Selmer Maccaferri-style guitars so this is a true one off, made specifically for Gordon Giltrap. Acoustic Magazine is proud to be Auctioning this extremely rare guitar. You will never get the chance to own or buy one of these anywhere else. This guitar was a special gift made specifically for Gordon Giltrap, and would make an excellent investment.
