Up for auction is for a good condition DBX 118 that has just had Burr Brown Opamps put in to replace the old 4558's in both the input and output stages!! and also has had all of the electrolytics replaced with high quality upgrades..The Burr Brown mod on these units in in conjunction of the re-capp just makes these unit s sound so beautiful on audio..It can best be described as being: Warmer, with broader frequency response and a better three dimensional image..It has been professionally modded by our tech and given the seal of approval to go to work at you home or in your studio..These are fantastic sounding units and are a highly desired piece of vintage gear.We have three of these for sale..All modded in the same fashion and all in good shape, but please take note that this auction is for only one.
