He was of Irish descent, and a talented engineer and innovative designer who patented several whistles. J Hudson & Co bought his whistle business in 1927, but he continued making publican sundries's and beer tankards until his death in 1931. I am offering this very collectible vintage De Courcy boy scout whistle made from plated brass, measures 74mm in length, offered in very good condition, blows well.
