THIS IS A BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED SMALL TIN WHICH IS A REPRODUCTION OF A FRENCH SNUFF BOX IN GOLD ENAMEL MADE IN PARIS CIRCA 1760-1761.THE BASE IS PRINTED WITH THE FOLLOWING ," ANTIQUE CASKET CONTAININGKEMPS CHOCOLATE BISCUITS AND BARKER AND DOBSON CHOCOLATES AND REPRODUCED BY COURTESY OF THE VICTORIA AND ALBERT MUSEUM. THE CONDITION OF THE BOX IS VERY GOOD AS CAN BE SEEN FROM THE PHOTO`S AND THE THICK LID IS HINGED AND WORKING FINE.THERE IS A SLIGHT BOW TO THE TOP EDGE OF THE BACK WHERE IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN OVER OPENED BUT IN MY OPINION DOES NOT DETRACT FROM PIECE.THE TIN MEASURES 123mm X 90mm X 62mm.
