If you collect clear Fostoria American here's your chance to add something different to your collection. Measuring 8 1/2" wide x 6" tall is this Irradiated purple Fostoria American old style cruet (referred as blown in mold). This color is attained by exposure to intense UV light if you've heard of sun colored amethyst glass this is taking a natural process and speeding it up to attain a color that may take many years in natural sunlight and may never get this dark. This can only be done with clear glass that contains manganese ( clarifying chemical used in glass making). This is a permanent color. The condition of this piece is good no chips, cracks, or cloudiness in the bottle 1 tiny pinpoint rough spot on seam side of stopper probably in the making you might find some light use scratches.
