This auction is for a Del Prado Naoleonic Era (1806) Naples Fire Officer, a nd was sold only in France and Italy as part of a series of Firemen of the World figures. The figure is made in 1/30 scale and has the type of uniform worn by Naples fire Officers during the early 19th Century. It is similar in style and appearance to those figures produced by King & Country for Del Prado and other part works sellers . I understand the series in question ended some time ago and the figure is very rare , being produced near the end of the series. This model figure has been painted to a very high standard in shaded colours , and the fine paint work includes very finely painted face, badges, buttons, braiding, book and rolled plans, etc. It is produced and painted to a much higher standard than the usual Del Prado figures, and being a more true 1/30 scale is much more comparable to the figures produced by King & Country, etc. The figure is on a highly detailed metal diorama style base, and is approximately 7 cm high and the base 3 cm long . This figure is great for anyone with an interest in emergency and fire services, as a stand alone piece or as an addition to an existing collection. It is fully compatible with figures produced by King and Country, etc. The figure you will receive is new and sealed in a blister pack. Kept in a pet and read more
