This is a large... “Depression” Pink Glass... Serving Ladle or Punch Bowl Ladle. Now... before we go any further let me point out!!!... I am sure... this elegant hand made glass Ladle did not come from the Depression era... and I only use that term to help you better visualize this glass color. We’ve sold thousands of pieces of Depression Glass over the years... and I feel comfortable in saying this Pink Glass Ladle would closely match... if not match perfectly... much of the pink glassware made during the Depression era. Having said that... let’s move on to the important features of this gracefully styled... and very practical Pink Glass Ladle. The Bowl portion of the Ladle is almost 4 inches from front to back... almost 4 ½ inches from the pour spout to the other side... and a little over 1-½ inches deep. The handle is hand applied... about 10 inches long... and has a hand crimped “lip” to keep it from slipping down into the pot of bowl. Overall length from the edge of the bowl to the end of the handle is about 12 ½ inches. It appears to be in excellent condition. I find these Glass Ladles listed in my “Glass Kitchenware” reference book as being made by numerous glassmakers over the years.
