Dining room table and six chairs, two carvers and four dining chairs. Set on twin pedestal legs, comes with separate middle extension piece to accomodate extra diners. Can seat up to ten people and is truely lovely at Christmas time or for larger dinner parties. Gold inlay and oval shaped table top with nicely skirted edge. It has solid brass catches to securely join the middle section when needed. Chairs are very distinct in design and come with dark royal blue paisley design. This is a very much loved dining suite and as with it's age it does come with some wear and tear to table top in places as shown and in part to wood on chairs. It has never been restored, I have never had the time alas to do it. It is though a lovely example of a reproduction from a bygone age, and exudes great character and warmth often lost on modern pieces. It would be ideal for Christmas. Selling only as moving house to a much smaller property and will be very sorry to see it go.
