WDW - Featured Artist #12 (Christmastown) Keri Murphy LE 750 Released December 25, 2004 This Limited Edition Jumbo-sized pin on pin is part of the 2004 Featured Artist series. Keri Murphy from Disney Design Group designed this pin called "Christmastown". This pin features characters from Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. Sandy Claws (Jack Skellington) is at the top of the pin looking down. T are 4 elves holding music and singing. Yellow banner in the middle with "Seasons Greetings" in red text. T are 5 dangles. Two are spiders on webs and the center is the Evil Wreath from the movie.This pin measures approximately 3" x 3" and includes the "Feature Artist" logo and Artist's signature back stamped. The pin is packaged in a beautiful display box and includes the Artist's bio and photograph. This pin will be released at Disney's Pin Traders at the Downtown Disney® Marketplace and at The Art of Disney locations at each of the four theme parks and at Downtown Disney® Marketplace. Keri's bio reads: "After graduating from the Ringling School of Art and Design, Murphy began an internship with the Creative Department for the Walt Disney World® Merchandise division. Later "Murf" was hired as an artist for the Disneyland® Team, then became lead character artist for the opening team of Disney's California Adventure® at Disney Design Group. Murf joined the Walt Disney World® Toy Team in 2001 and currently is on the opening team for Hong Kong Disneyland®. I'm still downsizing my pin collection and will be listing more Disney pins including limited edition pins. Most of this week's pin listings are still on their original card and enclosed in their original packaging (in the condition I received them from Disney). T may also be a few that w removed from my personal collection, and those will be noted above as "from my pin binder" so they will not come on any original backing or packaging. All the pins have been stored in my smoke free/pet free home. I have removed a few pins to take photos and inspect, but the majority of the photos and description information are courtesy of Pinpics (a great source for Disney pin info). Because Disney pins are hard finished they may exhibit occasional imperfections resulting from the production process, and because most of these pins are still in their original package I have not inspected them for flaws/imperfections (with the exception of those from my pin binder and a few that I may have opened to check...I will note above anything I notice on the pins that I have inspected). If you would like a specific pin checked more closely before bidding, please feel free to email me and I will gladly open the package to inspect. I'm starting all my auctions below the original cost of the pin so don't miss your chance to add some great pins to your own collection and enjoy bidding. Be sure to check out my other pin auctions and I will gladly combine shipping to save on shipping costs (if one payment is made). My shipping rates are $2.95 for the first pin (includes delivery confirmation) and 40 cents for each additional pin when mailed together (1 pin = $2.95, 2 pins = $3.35, 3 pins = $3.75, etc). Boxed pins will be $3.50. I highly recommend insurance since I have no control of the package once I turn it over to the postal service and I'm unable to replace pins, but I do let the buyer decide if they want insurance or not, since it is an extra cost. I use USPS insurance rates ... $1.65 for up to $50 of insurance ... $2.05 up to $100 ... etc.) I will ship internationally providing the following conditions are met: 1) Payment can only be made via Pay Pal and, 2) Since I cannot determine the exact cost of the combined shipping for your auction win(s,) you must wait for your invoice, until I take all of the pins to the post office to determine the cost. 3) I do not believe the USPS offers insurance on international packages, so shipping will be at your own risk.
