This Lunar Flight Certificate is awarded to the rider of the Rocket to the Moon ride in Tomorrowland at the new Disneyland Park just opened in Anaheim, California. The Lunar Flight Certificate was awarded to anyone who completed the ride, Rocket to the Moon, (name changed to Mission to Mars, after the Apollo moon landing). Removed from Disneyland years later.This Lunar Flight Certificate is in MINT condition and has never been used (The only signature is from TWA Rocket Ship Captain P.J. Collins) The date and the name are blank and left for you to fill in or not. It reads: "Know all ye by these presents: __________ has rocketed round trip to the moon from the Disneyland Spaceport via TWA Rocket Ship and is by awarded this Lunar Flight Certificate. The distance to the moon, 238,857 miles, is exceeded daily by TWA on its regular Earth flights across the U.S.A., Europe, Africa & Asia. Disneyland, California Date________ TWA Rocket Ship Captain P.
