I purchased theses adorable drawings of "Doll Mother" and Prayer Before Battle" at an estate sale recently......Both are signed B.Hummel on the right ....They are on heavy paper.......Both measure 4 1/2" x 3 3/4"....Excellent condition..when I removed the frames, I found two newspapers ...The newspapers are circa 1947 as Governor Dewey was in office in New York State(1943-54)...One of the pages gives the stock exchange tables for 1946-47.....The drawings have great color......and are in vintage frames measuring 8" x 9 1/4"....
