*********************************** 7 DAY AUCTION ************************************ DESCRIPTION: Original thermometer advertising Double Cola. Red background with white lettering. Says: âeoeDrink Double Colaâe at the top, and âeoeYouâe(tm)ll like it betterâe at the bottom. I would date it to the 50s, but not 100% certain. Maybe someone out t can help with the exact era. Measures approximately 17âe tall x 5âe wide. CONDITION: Very good condition overall. Canâe(tm)t tell if thermometer still works or not. Does have an indented area (see scan) near the top hole for mounting. Looks like someone got in a hurry when hanging it up. Appears to be some minor paint (white) spots or flecks, but could probably be removed. Some minor scratching present as well. Flaws kind of add character to the piece, but most could possibly be eliminated. That being said, the thermometer still displays superbly. And, this is one that you donâe(tm)t see everyday!
