DOUBLE TERMINATED ANTHRAXOLITE INCLUDED QUARTZ CRYSTAL HERKIMER COUNTY, NEW YORK 4 CM X 3.4 CM X 1.5 CM Quartz Sceptered Crystal Private Location, Herkimer County, New York It is clearly first and second growth crystallization, but the clear quartz crystallized on top of the anthraxolite. There is a natural blowout on the one face of the crystal, and a bunch of self healed markings. Very unique crystal, with an overgrown black core on the main crystal. This is a nice sized crystal of this quality. I Found this crystal in a small pocket in 2009 in New York, Herkimer County. Beautiful, wonderful crystal specimen. very rare.
