This auction is for a magnificent three piece set of Royal Doulton in their Kew Pattern. All three pieces, the Open Salt, Mustard and Pepper are marked, Doulton's Kew, with the English Registery number, 116918, which dates the pieces to 1888-1889. Even though t is no holder, it is extremely Rare to find a complete set, especially in this pattern.T is a complete set in a different pattern shown in The Open Salt Compendium, plate number 652. On all three pieces , t are no chips, cracks or flakes. In the very bottom of the salt cellar t is about a 1 inch area of heat stress marks. It does not in anyway distract from this set. The salt bowl is 1 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches in height. The pepper and mustard are 3 1/2 inches in height. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION.
