Authentic - Dr. Mc Munns Elixir of Opium Bottles Aqua in color 4 1/2 " tall - blown in a mold and lip tooled by hand. First produced 1842 in France by Folembray Glass works. One with Cork & One without. An advertisemant stated - "pure and essential extract from the native plant. To produce sleep and maintian composure. The Elixir of Opium is greatly superior to Morphine. Opium while highly addicitve , is effective as a painkiller. Opium was usually administered by syringe. Dr. McMunn had a very loyal following of addicted customers!!!
