Premium Edition 1/700 Scale Kit! Very High Quality! Up for bid is Dragon's exquisite Premium Edition 1/700 scale USS Independece (CVL-22) light carrier kit. The company added a photoetch set to enhance hangar deck and bridge mast complex, along with revised 20mm and 40mm antiaircraft guns. It also has the main deck and other small parts molded n clear plastic, so as to provide the Builder with the option of viewing the hangar deck. Very nice decal sheet, with which one can model any ship in this class. Painting guides for three ships: The Independence, the San Jacinto and the Monterey. Kit is complete, with 2 small parts separated from sprues and now in Ziploc baggie. Box is in great shape! I built the standard version of this kit awhile ago, and it turned out superbly, winning many IPMS local and regional awards.
