THIS IS " DROOPY JUNIOR " AND THIS IS A CHARACTER FROM WADE TV PETS BASED ON A POPULAR BRITISH TELEVISION CARTOON SERIES CALLED "BENGO AND HIS PUPPY FRIENDS," created by William Timym, an Australian who owned a boxer puppy named Bongo. DROOPY JUNIOR IS EXCEPTIONALLY RARE NOW AND was issued in FEBRUARY 1961, along with BRUNO JUNIOR [also listed]. DROOPY JUNIOR, IS NO.8 OF THE SERIES and he has is Light Brown with a white chest and grey ear tips. Dating from 1961, this Droopy Junior is in excellent condition with no damage, no cracks, no chips, no dinks and no restoration. All the Bengo and his Puppy Friends were only produced from 1959 - 1965 when they were withdrawn. Lovely item being reluctantly sold for house repairs.
