is a simple but elegant water pitcher for your consideration. The pattern name is Dutchess which fits this graceful pitcher. It was made by Ripley & Company (Factory F) of Pittsburgh, PA as part of the U.S. Glass Co. in the late 1890's. It is shown in William Heacock & Fred Bickenheuser book: U.S. Glass from A to Z Book 5 on pg. 123. The catalog shows it to be part of a water set with tumblers, waste or slop bowl and undertray. This pitcher also has an engraved fern leaf pattern on the body. The handle is hand applied. Size: 9 3/4" height Condition: Mint. T is an unexposed air bubble in the base. The handle is also mint with no heat check cracks. Insurance is optional but recommended. I accept PayPal, money order, cashier or personal check.
