Long, with much appreciation of efficient service as a member of the guard detachment of the Columbine, and with best wishes," and signed below in fountain pen, "Dwight D. Eisenhower"; and a matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Mamie Eisenhower, signed in the lower border in fountain pen, "For S/Sgt Marvin Long, With my kind regards, Mamie Doud Eisenhower." In overall very good to fine condition, with rippling to the top end bottom edges, a small bit of dampstaining touching Mamie's signature, and minor loss to the lower right corner of the Dwight portrait.
