I am listing a very old coffee tin which probably dates to the early 1900's and the label states it is Tangley Company, Muscatine, Iowa. I have not found information on this company so assume it was only made for a short time. The label does state it was (Not Inc.) I think the tin would be considered a 3 # tin as it is 10" tall and the measurement across the lid is 5 1/4" diam. Condition- this is a paper covered tin and as the photo shows one side does have foxing or stains. Actually, the front and back both have the same design. The side with the foxing(photo 2) has a dent near the top but since this is a lightweight tin I think it could be punched out. I bought this at a Estate auction and just left the way I found it.
