You are looking at a beautiful antique blue pottery milk jug. The detail on this piece is amazing: scrollwork along the top edges, beehive print around the middle, and on both sides is an embossed depiction of two cows. Glaze is very heavy and the variety of shades of blue is wonderful. One small (1/8") chip below one of the cows (see picture).Measures 6" across x 8" tall.Other than the chip, the piece is in great vintage condition. A very rare find.
