*Nice Early American BGI Smooth Face Putter Album Album Album Album I will be listing a number of hickory shafted playable clubs along with some nice collectible clubs in my Vendio Store this week so be sure to check them all out. You can go directly to my store by scrolling down to Additional Information and This auction is for a right handed 35.25" hickory shafted smooth faced putter. Marked with the normal BGI markings in a circle on the back along with the owner's initials. The head is clean and not all rusted. It does have the expected minor play nicks and dings. The shaft is the original marked hickory with the BGI shaft stamp and no number. The shaft has an almost imperceptible bow, I see no cracks and if I work hard I can make it move at the hosel. The grip is the apparently original old long sueded russet leather wrap over the built up underlisting. The grip is in very good condition for 100+ years old. Hard to find early American club that qualifies for play at Oakhurst. Shipping in the US is $12. This item shipped either Priority Mail or UPS ground-my choice.
