This is an Early American Pattern Glass Child's Mug that I am guessing was made around the turn of the century. It is made of a milk white glass with a yellow flashing on the top half and a brown flashing on the bottom half. It has two scenes on its one side; one scene shows a boy climbing a tree with a dog tugging at his pants . The other scene shows a man in a night hat climbing out of a chimney . The back side of the mug is void of any scenes. The mug stands approximately 3 inches high and is about 2.25 inches wide. It weighs about 6 ounces. This is a rare and seldom seen child's mug and has been in my collection for at least 25 years.It has a small chip on the base of the mug but it is very, very, very small and unnoticeable when the mug is sitting upright and, in my opinion, does not devaluate the piece. A once-in-a-lifetime find and a treasure for the child's glass collector.
