Welcome to another auction by Jils-Uneek-Anteeks Coin Silver baby cup This is a hand led cup and it is made out of solid coin silver. Coin silver is 900/1000 parts silver w sterling is 925/1000 parts silver. Up until @ 1860, we made our silver items out of melted down coins (thus the term coin silver). On the front of the cup, t is an area for a monogram. Surrounding this cartouche (monogram area) t is a decoration of beautiful flowers...see photos. This was made by an American Silversmith ... circa early 1800s Monogram: none Measurements (approx): Height (w/out handle) : 2 3/4 " Width ( without handle): 2 " Width ( opening ): 2 1/2 " Grams: 61 Maker Marks: None Condition: Very nice condition for it's age. It has been used, but not abused. T are no repairs, splits or major dents. T are some dings (1/8" and shallow, not real sharp) easy to fix.
