This Paperweight was Blown at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Co. ca.1850's.At the end of the day a Glassblower would gather up pieces off the floorBlow Glass over them and make unique paperweights (whimseys) of their own designs.This is in Excellent condition with a few hard to see scratches.Nicely displaying otherwise for a 165+ year old piece. This would have had the pontil polished offBase being ground off also...which likely causes the small chips on base.Measures 2 5/8" across..little over 1.5" high.A Nice Early Sandwich Paperweight for your Collection!Any questions will answer timely ships safely next day with prompt payment
