An Early Bow Figure of Spring from The Rustic Four Seasons Circa 1755 On offer is a lovely example of an early Bow figure of Spring left in the white. Item specifics Figure press-moulded with extremities moulded in parts. Seated on a plain mound wearing a wide-brimmed hat. Holding a basket with spring flowers. Condition The figure is in good condition. There is a large chip to the back of the hat which isn't visible from the front. The flower which is held in her hand is missing. Minor chips to extremities. The glaze has the usual bubbling and black specks associated with the manufacturing processes of this period at Bow. Otherwise all ok with no restoration discernable. The base has a hole in the bottom which is usual. Measurements Approx 13 cm high Please contact me for further images and information. I will consider all offers so don't hesitate to get in touch.
