Early Mermaid Figural Decanter ~ Pottery ~ NICE! Very nice figural flask / decanter/ bottle in the design of a MERMAID. Appears to be made from a heavy pottery. T is a cork in the top, which I have not tried to remove. No contents that I can determine. The decanter does not stand as the mermaid's tail is not flat. The decanter lies on her back. T are a few small very old chips or dings in the lip at the top. They are aged. On the left side are 3 spots which appear to be the firing spots. T is one spot w the glaze cracked and or popped. It could be a ding, not sure. The piece is very heavy and solid. Deep brown in color. No markings that I can find. Size 8" tall x 4 1/2" wide x 3" deep.
