This old Navaho Indian Germantown rug/weaving sampler measures approximately 20 1/2" x 21 1/2" and features a large serrate diamond centered with a serrate geometric figure. 4-ply Germantown yarns.VERY GOOD condition with a couple of small holes resulting from breaks in the weft; a few scattered dings; and occasional snippets of exposed warp (see pictures). It has light soiling and comes from a smoke free home. Both sides are pictured.c.1900. 1' 8 1/2" x 1' 9 1/2". This Germantown weaving has great color and displays beautifully on the wall, over furniture, or as a table cover for the display of other native artifacts.
