This old Navaho Indian Germantown rug/weaving sampler measures approximately 20 1/2" x 21 1/2" and features a large serrate diamond centered with a serrate geometric figure. 4-ply Germantown yarns.VERY GOOD condition with a couple of small holes resulting from breaks in the weft; a few scattered dings; and occasional snippets of exposed warp (see pictures). It has light soiling and comes from a smoke free home. Both sides are pictured.c.1900. 1' 8 1/2" x 1' 9 1/2". This Germantown weaving has great color and displays beautifully on the wall, over furniture, or as a table cover for the display of other native artifacts. NO reserve.Please request additional pictures if needed.The buyer pays the actual cost of USPS Priority shipping. A handling charge provides for insurance coverage at cost. I will email the final invoice with the added handling charge to the winning bidder at the conclusion of the auction. Please wait for the final invoice before you pay. Payment at pick up is also available. Ohio buyers pay 7.5% for sales tax.Returns are accepted for up to 14 days after receipt of the weaving.
