Early Palmer Cox Brownie Bottle..Newport News Va. Description I recently came across this vintage Brownie bottle in a local Va estate collection. It measures approx. 8" tall and is the 6.5 oz variety. It has the early Palmer Cox designed Brownie stick figure and reads: Aker's Beverage Co N. News Va. I have seen alot of local bottles to include Akers, but never a Brownie from Newport News Va. I consider it rare. The overall conditon is good, with only a sight interior cloud, No chips or cracks.
