*** HAPPY FATHER'S DAY *** Shown is an Early Type 12 STANLEY No.45 COMBINATION PLOW PLANE . This is an early Type 12 which was produced by Stanley from 1915 to 1920. This No.45 comes complete in its original American Chestnut wood box with a complete set of cutters in their original boxes (2) with nearly full labels as shown. ALL but the two smallest bead cutters appear unused, and have original factory honing. The plane is complete including three depth stops, short and long rods which are like new, slitter (unused), both fences, and black enameled screwdriver. The Nickel is 99% overall save for scratches on the top edge of body and fence. T is no rust or pitting on this plane. The Script style Stanley Rule & Level trademark is stamped clearly on the unblemished skate, and it has "No.45" cast on the body. The spurs on the body and auxiliary fence have never been turned around for use. The tote and fence knob are near perfect with NO chips, cracks or repairs, and have nearly all their original finish. The Rosewood wear strip on adjustable fence if perfect. NOTE: This fence has locking screw on top of casting making it the earliest version, c.1915 . The cam is the "PAT'DJULY9-1901" casting.
