LOOK!!! Only three pairs left. I do have the original box that held one dozen pairs of these toe clips.The box is some what torn though and the top lid is missing one of the end lips. I would include this original box if you bought all three pairs. The label on the end of the box says: THE VELVET NICKELED HARDENED STEEL TOE CLIPS- "The Round Edge Will Not Cut The Shoes". Made by DAVIS ADAMS MFG. CO. BRISTOL CONN. These are NOS Early Vintage Classic Antique Bicycle Toe Clips dating from as early as the turn of the century or possibly before??? Nickel plating with some surface rust / pits from being in storage as shown but would clean up great as an original finish pair. Probably used on rat trap type pedals for the wheelmen cycling period following the velocipede boneshaker high wheel penny farthing ordinary and solid hard tire safety bicycle type bikes and more so for the early single tube pneumatic tire safety era such as found on a velodrome banked track pursuit racing board track racer time trial bikes of vintage times. 100% complete with original rounded slotted head screws and square nuts and keeper plates.
