The ribbon page marker has never even been moved and this book has no attached ownership bookplates or seals and is without odors as it comes from a non-smoking environment. I rank books as follows (with the specifics of this book in BOLD ): MINT : Book is exactly as received from publisher. MINT copies are flawless. Book is sealed in publisher’s shrink wrap or book is unsealed as I have removed shrink and placed book, unread, page ribbon never moved, upon the shelf . MINT-D: MINT-D books have a publisher’s defect. In the case of Easton Press books, defects typically include 1) a scratch in the page gilding OR 2) a depression in the page gilding. These defects are rare, but if a MINT book I am selling has one, I will always disclose it. Book is sealed in publisher’s shrink wrap or book may be unsealed if I have removed it and placed it unread upon the shelf. LIKE NEW : Book is in PERFECT and MINT CONDITION but NOT SEALED. NO FLAWS. VERY FINE : Book is in excellent and almost perfect condition but may have MINOR IMPERFECTION. FINE : Book is in mostly excellent condition but will have some MINOR IMPERFECTIONS or possibly an attached bookplate (which I always disclose). VERY GOOD : Book has sustained some damage, but is still a beautiful display-quality copy. READING : Book is a good reading copy, in excellent condition for its age. It may have several minor flaws: fading, shelf wear, scratches, bookplates, or perhaps with the binding not mint-tight. I will report these flaws accurately.
