The original Hollywood Stars moved to LA from Salt Lake City (the Bees) in 1926 until they moved to San Diego in 1936 and became the Padres. There was much movement of franchises in the PCL in those days. The new version came to Hollywood in 1938 after moving from San Francisco (they were the Mission Reds-by the way I have an EFF Mission Reds jersey for sale right now, too). This is a great Hollywood Stars away jersey(star and no. on the back) not sure of the exact year. It’s an Ebbets Field Flannels jersey, this one no longer made. They had a zipper no buttons. I bought it new from EFF about 15 years ago. It’s in good condition, almost never worn but I discovered a small hole below the OO (on the front of the jersey). It’s very small but I’ve included pics. It could be repaired with minimal effort, very minor but worth noting. This particular Stars jersey I have not seen on the internet. So very rare. And please check out my other auctions for vintage hockey, football and baseball items. Will ship Priority Mail.
