ED KRANEPOOL- "THE PRIDE OF THE METS" .The great Ed Kranepool played 18 seasons for the New York Mets . He came up in September of 1962 and saw action with the Original '62 Amazing Mets . He would win a World Championship with the Miracle Mets of 1969 ; and, by the end of his career in 1979, had played 1853 games for the Metropolitans--still the record. This great image features Kranepool in 1962 with his manager, Casey Stengel . The former All-Star has hand signed this photo in crisp, blue Sharpie and added the inscriptions, "Pride of the Mets" and "1962-1979" . Mr. Kranepool signed these photos for us at a private signing in New York in December, 2013. Each image includes a Tracy Stallard Enterprises Guaranteed Authentic Hologram.
