I'm going to start by saying I really don't want to sell this bike but my bad knee kind of forces me to. It doesn't get used at all and I really can't afford to let it just sit on my wall but I know someone out there will really appreciate this build. Ride it or hang it up to stare at. But seriously this is the cleanest example of a Merckx frame that I have ever seen. I don't know a ton about the history but it was repainted by the factory in Belgium. Sold to a collector then to me. I was the only one to ride it after the restoration. When I built it I spared no expense on the components some being NOS ( New old stock ) when I purchased them. Full Campagnolo. Only the best. The bike has less then 20 miles on it and not a dent, scratch or any damage. The pedals were bought lightly used and have slight scratches. The frame paint is really outstanding with most stickers applied before the clear coat. The bars have hand sewn suede wrap and NOS Eddy Merckx bar end plugs. 58 c-c seat tube and 57 c-c top tube. Columbus SPX tubing. Campagnolo drop outs. It has a tight responsive geometry that Merckx track frames are known for. Heres a list of the components.
