One of the first sports actors he passed the collecting bug to his son, Pittsburgh Pirates GM Joe L. Brown who later served honorably on the National Baseball Hall of Fame's Veteran's Committee. The collection was passed down to his grandson our consignor who helped to further grow the collection.In fact, letters of authenticity for each ball has been graced with the special legend of being from the "Joe L. Brown Collection." A rare honor only placed on collections of supreme import with "celebrity" provenance. When you search the PSA/DNA number on the PSA site, you will see the notation that this ball is from this famous collection.
