Up for auction is this beautiful Lion made by Ellen Martin. This piece is approx five and a half inches in height and is six and a half inches in length. The piece is signed and dated on the bottom. This piece is beautiful, and has vivid colors and shows the true artistry of Ellen Martin. This piece would make an excellent addition to any pottery collection, and would also make an excellent gift for that special someone. Ellen Martin is a North Carolina African American Potter who makes some of the best folk pottery around! Instead of producing bulk she makes a select few items and pours her heart into them.
