Up for auction with a low start price and no reserve. An Epiphone by Gibson Accubass Not sure of the date of manufacture Serial number is there for you to work out. Made in Korea Looks like it's had a neck break at the scarfe joint at some point which has been repaired (Not by me). It seems to be sound. It had a couple of tiny chips on the end of the scarfe which I have filled and smoothed over see picture 8. Truss rod works Two of the machine head pegs had broken which I replaced but retained the original buttons to match the look at least from the front. I also made up a hardwood thumbrest. Body is Maple and alder laminate./ Maple neck I have checked it over given the electrics a clean and the frets a quick dressing. It plays pretty good but I'm not a bass player so you may need to adjust to your liking. The strings are a used set which are nice and clean but probably not very good ones. Cosmetically it is in below average condition or has a cool road worn patina depending on your outlook. I quite like it myself has a punk vibe to it. NO returns on this item sold as seen. any questions ask before bidding. Will be well packed and sent next day to Mainland UK. Local inspection and collection welcome by appointment only. I will ship this worldwide but will take the neck off to keep it safe and to make it a smaller package.
